Belize ~ My highlights plus a meditation to strengthen the aura

Earlier this year I had the opportunity to travel to Belize and attend a friend’s yoga retreat held at a Retreat Center called Sattva Land. It was quite magical being in the middle of the rainforest and waking up before sunrise every morning for Sadhana (our morning spiritual practice). I have such a passion for kundalini yoga along with travel and amazing food, so it was a real treat 🙂

Sattva Land is a bit more of a rustic experience, at least while we were there. They are continuing to grow more and more and have such amazing plans for this land. If you love fresh, organic, home-cooked meals, and being right in the middle of a lush rainforest, but also don’t mind a mosquito bite here and there and a more natural way of living then this place may be for you. It was discovered, built and currently run by a beautiful Italian family who’s values of integrity, healing, and connecting with other people led them to creating their own center.


One of the highlights of this trip was visiting the ancient Mayan Temple Xunantunich. It’s a little bit of a hike to the top, but totally doable, and the views and energy of this place are so worth it! I personally feel a connection to the Mayans ( perhaps a past life I’ve been told) and I was amazed at how comfortable and at home I felt at this temple.

Instructions for Ego Eradicator (A Kundalini Meditation to strengthen the aura) ~

At the end of the video I demonstrate the Ego Eradicator, I really only did it for one minute to save time in the video, but please try for 3 mins or even longer for added benefit!

The Ego Eradicator is great for expanding our lung capacity and breath, for expanding the aura ( the electromagnetic field around our body), as well as balancing the nervous system and strengthening our naval chakra. This one is great to do to energize yourself right before a big meeting or speech.

  • Please note: if you are Pregnant or on your Moon Cycle you don’t want to do Breath of Fire due to it producing too much heat, so try with long deep breathing.
